Magnolia's Old Fashioned Way to Take Pre-emptive action with Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Referring to the article published in Science on March 13, 2020: Why do dozens of diseases wax and wane with the seasons—and will COVID-19? by Jon Cohen we at Magnolia by the Lakes Senior Resort suggest that  in addition to all precautions recommended by the States’ Health Departments and Federal Government, individuals, when feasible, do the following old -fashioned means of staying well:

       - Relax in the sun on sunny days to absorb additional vitamin D

     - Drink plenty of water

     - Drink pomegranate juice every day (good for increasing the                immune mechanism)

     - Eat plain yogurt

     - Eat simple meals

     - Don’t forget your vegetable soup

     - Watch happy-ending shows and movies

     - Avoid stress

     - Get plenty of sleep
