Chef Eric has over 30 years of experience in Culinary Arts. He started working in the restaurant industry in 1986 with a family owned business, then became the kitchen manager at Camp Ticonderoga Restaurant in Troy. He began working in Senior/Assisted Living in 2006 combining his passion for food & serving/caring for the elderly. Eric has been with Magnolia by the Lakes since October 2018. His passion for his work shines through daily as he makes the residents his priority. He is Serv-Safe & Allergen certified.
Executive Chef James Lopez of Magnolia by the Lakes was born in Hawaii. Studying in Honolulu where he graduated from Amfac Culinary School where he obtained his degrees in Fine Dining Cuisine, Garde Chef, & Ice Carving. James Worked at the Maui Intercontinental alongside world renowned chef Wolfgang Puck. He has continued his career in Michigan where he worked at the Maple Management Corporation. Executive Chef at Double Eagle Restaurant in Troy, MI & Fox n Hounds in Bloomfield Hills, MI as a Sou Chef.
